Our employees are the true stars of the show at the recent combined celebration of Great Place to Work Day and the year’s first town hall.
The festivities kicked off with fun games prepared by the Corporate HR team for all Maxicare Group employees. Leaders also joined the fun at the Maxicare Group offices across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. After the cheers and friendly competitions, winners proudly showcased the Maxicare Group merchandise they won.
Opening opportunities in Baguio City

Embodying the spirit of a GPTW-certified company, the Maxicare Group People Planning and Acquisition team, in collaboration with Maxicare Clinics, held a job caravan at Olive Town Center and Hotel in Baguio City.
Over 50 aspiring applicants joined the job caravan, which ranged from graduating students and fresh graduates to career shifters, from the industries of Nursing, Pharmacy, and Phlebotomy, as well as Business Administration, Financial Management, Information Technology, and Computer Science programs. This was also in partnership with the Public Employment Service Office (PESO), which aims to expand career opportunities for the region’s workforce.
Aiming for excellence

Did someone say force? Everyone was in full force as more than 50 exemplary employees were recognized during the Leadership Excellence and Engagement Champions Awards.

The awardees were identified based on the results of the 2025 Employee Engagement Survey (EES) and were presented by Maxicare Group President and CEO Christian Argos; Maxicare Group Chief Operating Officer Fiona Victoria; Maxicare Group Chief Human Resource Officer Beng Cortes; Maxicare Group Vice President for Operations Axel Materne; and Vice President for Corporate Sales Lorena Abbas.
The recognized individuals serve as inspiration for the entire Maxicare Group. Their dedication encourages employees to continue pursuing excellence in their work and extend the value of malasakit in serving our members.
