Just like an orchestra made up of multiple musicians and instruments creating a dynamic harmony, delivering seamless care for almost 2 million Maxicare members doesn’t happen in isolation. It relies on a valued alliance with a reliable healthcare network that works in unison to deliver quality care to Filipinos without missing a beat.
To honor these enduring partnerships, Maxicare hosted its Partners’ Night 2026 to celebrate and reaffirm the shared commitment to bringing quality healthcare to Maxicare members. On the same night, partners across 11 award categories were recognized for their outstanding service.Â
The categories centered on delivering quality, seamless, and accessible healthcare to all members. Additionally, institutions, physicians, and hospital coordinators were recognized for valuing innovation, advocating for preventive care, advancing specialized care, and maintaining and protecting each member’s trust.

“Behind every award is a patient who was cared for, a doctor who made time, a care coordinator who stayed attentive, a hospital team that found a way, or someone who stayed with a difficult case until it was resolved,” said Elizabeth Gregorio, Maxicare Group’s Chief Health Network Management Officer. “We put our best work forward, always in the service of others: our patients, our members, all Filipinos.”
Maxicare’s partner providers reaffirmed this shared mission of making healthcare accessible and possible for all Filipinos when they need it most.
Some awardees expressed this on social media following the event. San Pedro Calungsod Medical Center posted: “As we celebrate this milestone, we are reminded that excellence in healthcare is achieved when we work together, with one purpose and in harmony, toward a healthier community.”
Chong Hua Hospital also echoed this sentiment: “We are grateful to Maxicare for this recognition and for a partnership founded on trust, collaboration, and a shared vision for better healthcare. It reflects the trust that thousands of patients and families continue to place in us.”
Public-Private Partnership in Healthcare
Meanwhile, among the special guests that evening was Frederick Go, Secretary of the Department of Finance. In his speech, he highlighted Maxicare’s leading market share in the Philippine HMO industry, where the top five providers account for 90% of premium revenues (based on data from 2021 to 2024).Â
As the private and public sectors in the health industry work together, such as through the Yaman ng Kalusugan Program (YAKAP) and government initiatives like medicine discounts, they’re not just building better healthcare for Filipinos but also paving the way for economic growth.Â
In the end, Maxicare’s Partners’ Night 2026 goes beyond the recognition of its partner providers. It’s a statement that together, we can change people’s lives and redefine what accessible, compassionate care looks like for every Filipino.Â
The healthcare industry’s foundation is built on an unwavering commitment to delivering health solutions that require dedication, synchronization, and partnership across the board. By celebrating and honoring the professionals who keep the nation’s healthcare moving forward, Maxicare safeguards every patient’s life and continues to live by its philosophy of providing premium healthcare deeply rooted in “malasakit.”
