Job Functions:

1. Evaluates and conceptualizes the formulation and implementation of      managed care, and evidenced based medical strategies for the company.

1. Reviews and formulates guidelines for medical case evaluation to assist operating units in implementation and application of benefits.
2. Evaluates and recommends medical opinion and information for cases handled and issues encountered by Medical, Actuarial and Underwriting, Customer Care, Sales and Claims.
3. Evaluates the appropriateness of medical diagnostic and therapeutic management of cases prescribed by affiliated specialists, and recommends approval or disapproval
4. Provides validation on diagnoses and specific management performed by affiliated physicians to ensure cost effectiveness of healthcare delivery.
5. Provides reliable and current medical references for any medical information through research and evidence based medical references.
6. Recommends professional fees of affiliated physicians based on Maxicare rates or Reference Value Units.

Maxicare Healthcare Corporation formally opens its new and bigger Primary Care Center (PCC) and Exclusive Wing at the Makati Medical Center (MMC) last January 15, 2013 via a traditional ribbon cutting ceremony and blessing led by Bishop Raul Martinez of Christ the King Parish.

Roberto Macasaet MD, Maxicare Founding Chairman; Antonio L. Go, Equicom Group Chairman; Rene Buenaventura, Equicom Group Vice Chairman; Jose Pastor Z. Puno, Maxicare President and CEO; and Rose Montenegro, President and CEO of Makati Medical Center did the honors of conducting the ceremony. 

The new and bigger PCC located at the 3^rd Floor, Tower 1 of MMC and the Exclusive Wing at the 8^th Floor are parts of Maxicare’s continuous efforts to serve its members better. Both facilities will continue to provide Maxicare members with exclusive access to Customer Service Associates, Primary Care Physicians specializing in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, and additional services such as Laboratory and ECG to administer immediate and exclusive services on members’ needs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Directly reports to the Training Manager
• Primarily, the Training Officer shall handle the healthcare coverage orientation of the accounts maintained Maxicare sales team, either new or renewed.
• This will involve in depth knowledge of the Maxicare product and coverage, availment or reimbursement procedures and other related processes related to either the product or unique to the account. Among others, this job involves heavy networking and coordination with the Sales team and Sales support in meeting the orientation requirements of the account.
• In addition, the incumbent shall also handle orientation program for newly recruited agents who will be carrying the license to represent Maxicare and offer its products.  In conjunction with this role, he/she will facilitate a full scale agent course detailing the Maxicare profile, product description and commission computation.
• Prospectively, a Training Officer must be able to determine the needs of these sellers/agents and provide appropriate solutions such as organizing a training program which will increase the competencies of the agents/sellers in selling Maxicare. The incumbent must likewise evaluate the impact of the rolled out programs.

Must be a graduate of Marketing , Management or any related course graduate with two ( 2) years experience in actual sales. Candidate must be knowledgeable in sales presentation and negotiations skills. Not more than 32 years of age.

• Reports directly to the Vice President – Sales and Marketing
• Manages the implementation of the key sales retention and new business strategies thru the brokers’ distribution channel.
• Manages the Business Development and Business Retention Managers in the attainment of the sales target
• Provides the VP – Sales & Marketing sales projections based on different market scenarios.
• Ensures cascading and implementation of the U & A guidelines
• Expands sales revenues from existing portfolio of accounts
• Trains, develops and coaches the Business Development and Business Retention Managers in the management of the intermediary sales force
• Ensures implementation of key sales strategies and monitors adherence to identified target market.

Must be a graduate of Marketing , Management or any related course graduate with two ( 2) years experience in actual sales. Candidate must be knowledgeable in sales presentation and negotiations skills. Must be residing in Bacolod Not more than 32 years of age.

• Generates / expands sales revenues from existing portfolio of accounts (renewal business) and manages the accounts to ensure customer retention.
• Achieves the sales target based on assigned accounts
• Implements Underwriting & Actuarial guidelines and other company policies
• Designs & implements renewal sales strategies for each account
• Implements Client Relations & Retention Programs
• Conducts clients’ healthcare needs analysis and provides solutions to clients’ healthcare need
• Secures clients’ conformity to the renewal terms and conditions
• Submits the CSD and other internal documents necessary for the implementation of the agreed healthcare program
