Milestones

1987 Group of Doctors from Makati Medical Center and a few Businessmen established Maxicare with a vision for a better healthcare for the country
1997 PCIB CIGNA entered into a joint venture with Maxicare to expand operations in the Philippines therefore changing the company name to Maxicare PCIB CIGNA Healthcare Corporation
2002 A merger with Equitable Bank changed the company name to Maxicare EPCIB Healthcare.
Maxicare also launched the Flexiclaims system.
2003 Name was changed to Maxicare Healthcare Corporation.
2004 Maxicare reached its 1 Billion sales.
Maxicare opened its Primary Care Center in The Medical City
2005 Maxicare launched its Intelligent cards.
Maxicare partnered with Medilink Inc to to use POS terminals in hospitals and clinics for quick validation of membership status.
Maxicare opened its Cebu Sales Office.
Maxicare opened Primary Care Centers in St. Luke’s Medical Center and Cebu Doctor’s Inc.
2006 Equitable PCIB merged with BDO.
Maxicare opened Delos Santos Medical Center Primary Care Center.
2007 Maxicare launched its Premium and Platinum Cards.

Maxicare opened its DLS-STI Megaclinic Primary Care Center.

Maxicare was acquired by Pin-An Holdings of the Antonio Go Group of Companies.
2008 Maxicare opened its Filomena Primary Care Center located in Makati City.
2009 Maxicare opened its 8th Primary Care Center in My Health Clinic, Festival Supermall, Alabang, Muntinlupa City.
